Challenge

ORACIA will develop a solution to support home and technology-based rehabilitation for people with aphasia.

Solution

The ORACIA smart solution for ageing well will contribute to the digital tansformation of health and care in speech and language therapy. Through an ICT-based platform, ORACIA will promote the extension of the rehabilitation ntervention performed in-clinic to the community setting (e.g. patient home, home care center).

The main objective and technical advance will be the development of a new platform, which will be designed and validated by a multidisciplinary team together with rehabilitation professionals.

Objectives, Activities and Results expected / achieved

ORACIA hopes to revolutionize rehabilitation for aphasia through an interactive and holistic approach (speech therapy, physical therapy and cognitive training) that impacts patients' quality of life.
