The GreenAuto Agenda aims to transform the national automotive industry in the context of the current transition to low-emission vehicles. To this do so, it proposes the creation of technical and operational conditions to start the production of a new light commercial vehicle (LCV) in Portugal, namely a battery electric light commercial vehicle (BE-LCV), while ensuring a high level of national incorporation.
One of GreenAuto's goals will be to develop a tool that takes advantage of augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality technology together with robotics, to create an immersive simulator, to train tasks that can be used in different sectors of activity (e.g. automotive manufacturing, health, etc.).
One of the expected results will be a prototype of a solution for guiding and training tasks using:
• AR, VR and MR technologies that will be used to provide audiovisual content and stimuli;
• Robotics and environmental detection technologies will serve as mechanisms for interaction with the virtual environment (touch feedback, multimodal vision and sound interaction).
