Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is expanding its team and is looking for a Pre-Award Grant Manager for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics for Healthcare, Telemedicine and Telerehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

• Support the concept development, writing and submission of funding applications in the areas of AI & Robotics for Healthcare, Telemedicine and Telerehabilitation;
• Contribute to the development of the RTD strategy, in line with the institutional strategy and funding opportunities available;
• Ensure yearly KPIs;
• Cooperation with the different departments of the institution during all stages of application;
• Support the communication team in external visibility;
• Participation in national and international networks.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Health Economics or other similar areas;
• Proven experience in supporting and leading the preparation of funding grant applications for health innovation;
• Knowledge of European funding programmes Horizon Europe (or previous FPs), EIT-Health, DEP, THCS, Interreg, Eureka (more than 2 years of experience);
• Knowledge of national funding programmes PT2030, PRR (more than 2 years of experience);
• Fluency in English.

Preferential factors:

• Entrepreneurial experience in the area of ICT for health and well-being;
• Knowledge on the Medtech, digital health value-chain and market access in Europe;

Transversal competencies:

• Autonomy and orientation towards objectives and results;
• High sense of responsibility;
• Good communication skills;
• Leadership and teamwork skills.
