Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) hosted, between 23 and 27 September, the business module of
EIT Health Medtech Bootcamp, which aims to support medtech and digital health startups in validating concepts and entering the European market.
During this module, led by IPN, were addressed topics such as pitch preparation, communication strategies, business models, intellectual property, clinical validation and funding.
The sessions were carried out by speakers and mentors such as

Diogo Bhovan, entrepreneur,
Vera Moura, Director of Basinnov,
José Ricardo Aguilar, Director of IPN’s Legal and Intellectual Property Department and
Cristiana Costa, Coordinator of IPN’s Automatics and Systems Lab I&D Unit.

EIT Health Medtech Bootcamp, led by FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, in partnership with
DKV Health Insurance,
IESE Business School,
Medical Valley, and
universitätsklinikum erlangen, is in line with EIT Health Network’s commitment in building an ecosystem favourable to innovation in the health sector, in order to improve the access and quality of healthcare services for european citizens.
IPN, as founding partner of the EIT Health Network, has been reinforcing its role in promoting innovation in health by organising acceleration and ideation programmes for startups and innovative projects that aim to contribute to improving the quality of life of citizens.
