Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is looking for a
Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer to integrate the team of the Informatics and Systems Lab (LIS). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in AI projects. We are seeking someone with a natural aptitude for solving complex problems and a proven track record in researching and developing cutting-edge AI solutions.
Functions:
- Supporting the development and implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions, with an emphasis on LLMs;
- Contributing to the research and experimentation of new language models and algorithms;
- Collaborating with development teams to integrate AI solutions into the lab’s projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields;
- At least 5 years of experience in AI development;
- Advanced knowledge of deep learning frameworks;
- Proven experience in implementing large language models;
- Knowledge and experience in Gen AI projects;
- Ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to drive innovation and knowledge sharing internally;
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and oral)
