Junior Initiative of Coimbra got to know IPN's role in the space sector

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) received a visit from Pollux, a junior initiative from Coimbra, and from CIAAC - Coimbra Academic Association Computer Center, on February 28th of 2024.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to know IPN and discover more about its space-related activities, developed by ESA Space Solutions Portugal.
They also explored IPN’s Research Labs, thus knowing some of the active technologies and projects that have been developed in the various areas of knowledge.
Pollux is a junior initiative of Coimbra that aims to be a reference in student involvement in the space sector, building a bridge between the academic world and the space sector for those that want to build a career in this field.
Coimbra Academic Association Computer Center (CIAAC) is a cultural section that has objectives such as digital inclusion through publicity and promotion of computer and technological knowledge, and the discussion of the impact of computer and technological advances today.
