Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) organised a series of webinars dedicated to the internationalisation of startups, carried out between June and October of 2024, events that counted with the participation of more than 50 startups and more than 20 internationalisation experts.
Organised as part of
Pro-Global - Acceleration Programme for Internationalisation, the webinars addressed the challenges and internationalisation opportunities in strategic markets such as
Germany, Brazil, France, Spain, United States, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Sweden, Ireland, China and
The Netherlands.
The participants had the opportunity to interact with local representatives of the
Portuguese Investment and Foreign Trade Agency (AICEP) in each one of the countries as well as local partners. The discussed topics included an analysis of each market, the best strategies for establishing business deals and partnerships, and the programmes and incentives available for startups. The webinars allowed the participating startups to deepen their knowledge on international markets, identify potential partners, get to know programmes and incentives available and establish contacts with experts and other entrepreneurs.
