IPN boosts online training in Product and Quality Assurance in Space Projects

Instituto Pedro Nunes is promoting the 3rd edition of a training course on Product Assurance & Quality Assurance (PA/QA) for Space Projects. The training runs online in English from 30 October to 8 November 2024.
This certified training, totalling 31 hours, is aimed at managers and quality professionals, as well as recent graduates who want to develop specific skills in space projects.
The training schedule will be divided into sessions on 30 and 31 October and 5, 7 and 8 November. Among the main contents covered are the roles of PA/QA, the implementation of quality control strategies, the use of reliable tools and effective interaction with customers and suppliers. One of the highlights will be the panel of guest speakers, who will address the regulatory framework and space law.
Registration is open until 28 October, with discounts for early birds, AED associates and companies incubated at IPN until 18 October here.
This training will feature two experienced trainers: Rui Henriques, with over 20 years' experience in quality control and management, and Rui Barradas Pereira, with a solid career in space projects. Renowned speakers such as Maria Helena Rolim, a specialist in space law, Petrônio Noronha de Souza, a professor and technologist at INPE, and Christopher Johnson, Director of Legal Affairs at the Secure World Foundation, have also been confirmed.

IPN is accredited by DGERT (Certificate 2376-2016). At the end of the course, participants will be entitled to a Professional Training Certificate.
