POWER
EMPOWERING A DIGITAL FUTURE

Challenge

Telecommunications operators, as well as the other stakeholders operating in that ecosystem, providing them with components, applications, services and digital content (Digital Service Providers - DSP), are now at the epicentre of a digital revolution. This revolution, is the result of the vast amount of data generated and processed over the past years, now requires new approaches and tools that enhance the operational efficiency of companies and, in parallel, the creation of new and improved products and services, focused on the optimum user experience throughout their interaction journey with the service provider.

Solution

This project, entitled "POWER - Empowering a digital future", aims to create an innovative portfolio of products and services, mostly based on cloud and cognitive technologies. Through a strong research and development effort, it will be aligned with strategic technological transformation vectors: 5G networks, Edge / Cloud computing continuum, data-driven technologies and business models, and Artificial Intelligence.

Objectives, Activities and Results expected / achieved

Expected Results:
1. Investigate and create an innovative product and service portfolio, mostly based on cloud and cognitive technologies;
2. Expand Altice Labs' market reach, conquering new market segments as well as new geographies where it is not present today;
3. To boost the digital transition process, in alignment with the readjustment of the entire global economy, enabling Altice Labs to become a leveraging agent for other companies in the digital transition process;
4. Create new business models that can be massified, suitable for the digital world, in the cloud and mostly in an as-a-service format.
