Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) took part in the 6th General Assembly of the HealthChain project, funded by the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) programme, held on 4–5 June 2025, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Partners from 9 regions – including Portugal, Spain, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Greece – gathered to reflect on the results of HealthChain, improve its impact, plan for sustainability and exploitation of results, and prepare for the last 6 months of the project.
IPN plays two central roles in HealthChain: as representative of the Centre Region of Portugal ecosystem, jointly with ULS Coimbra, highlighting results from companies Promptly, VirtualCare, Complear, Neuroinova and Everythink, currently piloting digital health solutions aligned with local needs; and as coordinator of the work package "Delivery of business support, exploitation, and sustainability", contributing to the valorisation and internationalisation of the technological solutions developed in the project.
This role reflects IPN’s mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship by supporting the transformation of the business landscape through strong links between science, healthcare, and technology.
