Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), as part of PRR NewSpace Portugal, is organising the webinar ‘Radar Data, InSAR Techniques, and Quality Assessment of Geospatial Information’ on May 8, at 3:00 PM (WEST).
This event explores the use of SAR interferometry (InSAR) in analysing geospatial data, a fundamental approach for monitoring deformations of the Earth's surface.
The session, which is part of the Space Webinars initiative, will be led by Cidália Fonte, a lecturer at the University of Coimbra and a specialist in Geomatic Engineering and Remote Sensing. With extensive experience in modelling and processing the uncertainty associated with spatial data, as well as in geographic information systems and deformation monitoring, Cidália Fonte will provide a detailed overview of the potential and challenges of SAR technology.
