On 7 March, Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) was visited by a group of students as part of the XX National Meeting of Biomedical Engineering Students (ENEEB), an event that annually brings together future biomedical engineers from all over the country to share knowledge and experiences.
The visit to IPN gave participants a practical insight into the impact of Biomedical Engineering in the real world. The programme included an institutional presentation of the IPN by Marta Salgado Costa, an introduction to the Business Incubator ecosystem by Ana Seguro and, as a highlight, a visit to the Automatics and Systems Lab where Carlos Azevedo gave a technological demonstration of an innovative robot for remote tele-echographies.
