Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) received a visit from the
Business Moove committee, a business mission from the Santa Catarina State (Brazil), on 21 November of 2024.
The committee, composed of more than 30 Brazilian entrepreneurs and accompanied by
Brígida Silva Mateus of the Coimbra City Council, was welcomed by
Ana Luísa Jegundo, Coordinator of Transversal Projects at IPN, for a presentation of the institute, during which she highlighted the activities carried out in the domains of incubation and acceleration of startups, support to scientific innovation and in contributing to international research and development projects.
The group of entrepreneurs also had the opportunity to clarify questions related to the support provided by IPN to startups and know more about the dynamics of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Region of Coimbra.
The visit was carried out as part of Business Moove, an initiative co organised by the
Coimbra City Council, the
Intermunicipal Community of the Region of Coimbra (CIM-RC), the
Brazil-Portugal Chamber of Commerce,
Industry and Tourism of Santa Catarina and the
Business Council of the Region of Coimbra (CERC), the main aim of which is to create business opportunities and promote partnerships between Portugal and Brazil.
