Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) received a visit from
Salvo Trotta, Vice-President of the
Activators Pavia Network, a network of local innovators from the Pavia Region, active since 2012. The visit was solicited by the
University of Coimbra (UC), as part of its participation in the
European Campus Cities Network (EC2U).
Received by
Carla Duarte, Innovation Manager at IPN, and by
Maria Rita Ferreira, summer intern at IPN’s Departament of Knowledge, Valorisation and Innovation (VCI), Salvo Trotta had the opportunity to get to know the institute’s work in encouraging innovation, through the support for the development of innovative solutions and the scientific research carried out in various areas of knowledge.
The visitor was also accompanied by
Jorge Figueira, Coordinator of the R&D International Network Offices at the University of Coimbra.
This visit reflects IPN’s contribution to incentivising innovation, while also representing an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between the organisations involved.
