Functions:
Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is looking for a Clinical Evaluation Manager for Medical Devices to integrate the team of the Automatics and Systems Lab (LAS).
Functions:
- Plan and oversee evaluation studies of medical devices within hospitals and startups;
- Provide support to startups in defining plans and evaluate the requirements for clinical evaluation studies for medical devices;
- Manage and conduct clinical results for concept validation, usability tests and other clinical studies in hospital environment, based on applicable regulation;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement protocols for clinical studies;
- Monitor and report the progress of clinical studies;
- Manage clinical study documentation and data with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for medical devices.

- Degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or similar areas;
- Previous experience in clinical research/evaluation for medical devices;
- Competencies in project management;
- Ability to work independently;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English;
- Experience in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) in health and well-being.
- Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics;
- Understanding of the medtech and digital health value-chain and the market access in Europe.
- High sense of responsibility for objectives and meeting deadlines;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the capability of communicating technical concept with technical and non technical stakeholders;
- Capability of leading and working in collaboration in a team of professionals with different backgrounds and expertises;
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills for identifying potential risks and proposing efficient solutions;
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with variable priorities and requirements;
