Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) received, on June 12th of 2024, a visit from a group of students of the São Teotónio School in Coimbra, organized as part of a school activity designated Mini-Internships of Skills Improvement.

Marta Salgado Matos, IPN’s Communication and Marketing Manager, presented IPN, giving the students a first-hand perspective on its functioning and its innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere.


Carlos Nunes, Project Manager at the Business Incubator, presented IPN’s Business Incubator, where he introduced the Incubator’s role on supporting technology based startups that seek to boost and take their business to the next level.


To finalize, Edite Ravella, CEO of the incubated startup SafeCaring, presented the company that is currently developing a solution to optimize the time in healthcare, allowing health professionals to give more attention to patients.


The visit aimed to provide the students an approximation to the working world, so they can get to know the institutions' area of activity.
