Challenge

PTCentroDiH's mission is to create conditions to ensure that companies (SMEs and others), as well as other public or private institutions, can access the services they need for their digital transformation and that regional stakeholders can access proofs of concept with innovative solutions and scalable technologies.

Solution

PTCentroDiH is a regional and cross-cutting Digital Innovation Hub that is strongly focused on promoting the digitization of entities in the Central Region in order to boost competitiveness and innovation. In addition, PTCentroDiH also aims to become a European Digital Innovation Hub, supported by the Digital Europe Program.

Objectives, Activities and Results expected / achieved

- Stimulate the digital development of entities in the Central Region, particularly SMEs, as well as other public and private institutions, in order to promote competitiveness. This will be fully aligned with the Region's Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3);
- Contribute to identifying the qualification and retraining needs of human resources, with the aim of increasing the economic and social competitiveness of the Central Region;
- Respond to the requirements identified in the Digital Europe Program, with regard to prioritizing three digital technologies: HPC (High-Performance Computing), Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity;
- Lay the foundations for intensifying synergies at the national and international levels.
