MOVE is a transport solution based on driverless electric vehicles designed for small trips at low speed, with the aim to be a "horizontal lift" able to connect buildings of private or semi-private spaces. This system has most of the intelligence onboard of the vehicles, not requiring rails or heavy supporting infrastructures, which is an advantage related with other solution like mini metro, lifts or cables cars, decreasing the costs related with infrastructure and increasing the flexibility of the system. Other differentiating factor is the fact that it is user-friendly, the interfaces with users are quite simple, and their use can be compared to a normal horizontal lift, thus making it easily accessible to large part of the population. Each vehicle has energy management system that enables automatic batteries charging when they are not in use enabling a 24/7 operation.
MOVE can be segmented in two different market segments: the first one, with a higher important social impact, transporting people who are physically disabled having some mobility problems with a wide exploitability in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, airports, shopping malls and city centers; and second one, transporting people in leisure environments (like tourist resorts, amusement and natural parks) and work/business environments (like fairs, business centers, industrial and university campus).
MOVE has been implemented in Deltapark Vitalresort hotel connecting the 2 main buildings, hotel and SPA, transporting the hotel guests confortably in all weathers conditions, whether it's raining or snowing.
