Description

The developed system was applied in a laboratory for the process of curing composite materials with UV light. The automatic control system takes samples of the parameter relevant in this process for later analysis. The prototype has two distinct components. One consists of instrumentation to acquire measurements made by UV and temperature sensors. The second module is a graphical interface for the control process and records the physical parameters in a file and later creates a graph of trends from the information collected. Furthermore, it gives the user control over the process of curing with UV light, particularly the exposure time and calibration of whites.
