Description

This project intends to develop and bring to the market a system based on technology and specialised services whose fundamental objectives include:

• Automatic and continuous non-intrusive and confidential monitoring of elderly/dependent people
• Improve the quality of life of the elderly by providing them and those around them with better information
• Improve coordination between caregivers

This project covers the selection of equipment to measure health parameters like weight, blood pressure and glucose level, among others. The goal is to promote the use of this equipment at home and by the teams of caretakers that provide homecare services to enable automatic recording of health measurements in an electronic Personal Health Record (PHR) for later reference by health professionals.
