Framedrop.ai, a company incubated at Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN), won the ‘Most Promising Startup’ award in the Road 2 Web Summit 2024 programme, promoted by Startup Portugal.

This recognition includes a cash prize of 15,000 euros to boost the growth and development of the startup, which is revolutionising the video editing market with a platform based on artificial intelligence (AI). Framedrop.ai's solution allows creators to turn their best moments into professional videos quickly and efficiently.
The Road 2 Web Summit programme, which this year saw the participation of 125 Portuguese startups, is an initiative of Startup Portugal to promote national entrepreneurship. In 2024, the programme saw a 10% growth in the Portuguese presence at the Web Summit, with 60% of the participating startups already operating internationally and totalling 37 million euros in investment.
