TEF-Health presents catalog of services for companies in the Health sector

Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) was present, on March 4th of 2024, at the event All AI TEF’s Open for Business, in Berlin, representing the Portuguese Node of the TEF-Health project.
During the event, there were information sessions on all of the TEFs, demonstrating how innovative AI-based projects are creating solutions and facilitating the certification process of medical devices in the European and International markets.
The catalog of services and benefits of TEF-Health directed to startups and SMEs in the health sector was also presented. Some of the services include clinical trials and validation, regulatory and business development support, access to hospitals, living labs, RTOs, innovation ecosystems, physical and digital access to large-scale resources, among others.

TEF-Health (Testing and Experimentation Facility for Health AI and Robotics) is an initiative of the European Commission with the objective of facilitating and accelerating the certification and testing of medical devices based on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, uniting a network of infrastructures focused on testing and experimenting in 9 European countries.
IPN leads the national consortium of this project which counts with the participation of Coimbra Local Health Unit (ULS Coimbra), São João Local Health Unit (ULS São João), the Ministry of Health's Shared Services, Health Cluster Portugal and EIT Health Innostars.
