Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is expanding its team at the Laboratory for Wear, Testing and Materials (LED&MAT) and is looking for a Researcher in the area of Materials Science, to support R&D work within the scope of the national research project DRIVOLUTION (Innovation Pact within the scope of the PRR), for a period of 12 months.
Functions:
Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) is expanding its team at the Laboratory for Wear, Testing and Materials (LED&MAT) and is looking for a Researcher in the area of Materials Science, to support R&D work within the scope of the national research project DRIVOLUTION (Innovation Pact within the scope of the PRR), for a period of 12 months.
Functions:
- Develop laboratory activities for testing and electrical characterisation of EV batteries, for SECOND-LIFE use;
- Developing methodologies for proper battery characterisation;
- Develop and apply battery monitoring methodologies for use in SECOND-LIFE scenarios.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar;
- Expertise in the areas of energy and/or electronics;
- Applications with previous experience working with EV batteries will be favoured;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Availability to start work at short notice.
