The FaceRehab project development team conducted a research study to validate the usability of the solution based on the ISO 62366-2 protocol.
The results of the study indicate that FaceRehab has a significant level of usability and it was reported by participants to be a "simple and intuitive medical device".

This solution combines a tool for remote planning, prescription and monitoring of rehabilitation programmes, with an interactive virtual assistant. FaceRehab intends to improve the facial rehabilitation process of patients with facial paralysis.
Instituto Pedro Nunes leads this project co-funded by the AAL Programme, through the
Laboratory of Automatics and Systems, in a consortium involving partners from Portugal, Spain and Luxembourg.
