On the 24th and 25th of January 2015 the ESA Business Incubation Centre in Portugal, managed by Instituto Pedro Nunes, will join other five entities across Europe in the selection Appathons for ESA App Camp in Barcelona.

During the two-day event participants will have access to “the latest space data and the power of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform” and be able to “meet with like-minded people to tackle some of the world's greatest challenges”: food security, environmental protection and crowdsourcing!

To join this initiative, participants just need to bring a computer and an innovative idea to be developed during the Appathon. The results will be presented to a jury of experts and the winning team will be invited to the ESA App Camp in Barcelona (25th of February - 3rd of March 2015), all costs covered. The ultimate winners will be awarded at the Mobile World Congress!
