IPN will promote the
RAW Open Data event, on
16th and 17th of October.
The event will gather
renowned speakers within the Open Data, namely: Paulo Neves, president of the
Agência para a Modernização Administrativa (AMA – a Portuguese agency for the central administration modernization), Irina Bolychevsky, from the
Open Knowledge Foundation and Martín Álvarez Espinar, from the
W3C in Spain. You can check all of the event speakers

Besides the conference, a
Hackaton (a Hacking marathon) will take place, aiming
to create applications by using open data.
The RAW Open data integrates the European projects
CITEK (Capitalization Initiative for the Innovation and Internationalization - of the
MED program, a program that integrates both regional and transnational levels for the Mediterranean space) and
TRANSCREATIVA, an European project financed by the Interreg IV B SUDOE program of the European Union.
The
participation on the RAW Open Data is free but given the
limited number of vacancies it requires a
previous inscription.

auditiorium of TecBIS – Business Accelerator, the
Hackaton it will be on Casa das Artes of the Bissaya Barreto Foundation.
